Isn't that fancy?!? OK, so they didn't actually stay in THAT EXACT contraption, but it was parked near the one they stayed in, and they thought it was funny, so they took a pic.
The crew camped at Lake Somerville, but the lake level was ridiculously low (see prior comment about 158 degree heat and add the fact that it hasn't rained in about 76 days or so and that explains the low lake level). So the grown ups had to improvise so the little humans could swim. Looks like the little rascals had quite a time in their tub of water. We would have wanted nothing to do with it.
Do you think it may be time to put junior on a diet when his belly laps over the side of his tray and onto the top of his food??
Besides the camping trip, the humans have been very busy lately, and that's why we haven't updated sooner. Since we have no thumbs, we can't exactly turn on the blog update machine when they aren't here, so we actually DO need them for some things! The man human has been working a lot and trying to keep the grass outside alive when he's home. The lady human has been working during the week and going to College Station on the weekends to work on clinicals for her nursing school . The baby human?? He pretty much just goes where ever the grown up humans take him. But rest assured, he goes there loudly. There's nothing quiet about that kid. He eats loudly, plays loudly, sleeps loudly, talks loudly, and screams REALLY loudly. Some of his recent favorite words and quotes are "BIG truck", "bubbles!", "cookie" (pronounced cockie), "my truck", "a car!", and "whaisit?" (where is it?) We don't mind those words, but we have learned to make ourselves invisible if we hear the word "kiddy" come out of his mouth, because chances are he's headed for one of our tails.
We leave you this time with a video of that kid in action on the camping trip. Enjoy!
Until next time,
Lexi and Sadie
